Application and introduction to our process.
Your journey begins with our online application form.
This helps us understand your lifestyle, home environment, experience with dogs, and what you are hoping for in a future companion.
Once we receive your application, we will respond by email with further details about how we work and what to expect moving forward.
Follow up call.
Pending a successful application, we will arrange a follow-up call.
This gives us the opportunity to get to know you better, answer any questions you may have, and talk through suitability, expectations, and the type of home you can offer.
This stage helps ensure the right fit for both our puppies and our families.
Deposit taken, contract signed and placement on a puppy waitlist.
If approved, you will be invited to join the waitlist for Olive, Maggie, or both, depending on your preferences and timing.
To secure your place:
• A deposit of £250 is taken.
• Your puppy contract is signed.
Nature can’t be rushed but be reassured, you are on board and you will receive the exciting future litter announcements within your chosen waitlist group. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to other litters.
Litter announcement, reservation invitation and weekly updates.
One of the best bits! Once puppies are born we work through the parent waitlist in order and you’ll get to join the private what’s app group specifically for that litter. It’s the start of the inclusive journey we have with our owners, where you’ll develop all your confidence to take on your puppy, make new friends and generally get involved with your new family addition from the moment they are born. Inside this group we put up regular videos detailing your puppies journey, we explain the crucial stages we help to develop and offer live videos of Mum and her pups. We upload pictures and videos often, they grow so quickly, its just the best experience to be part of their very start in life. You get to ask any questions that crop up as you prepare for your little arrival. We are here to support you but also you’ll find the other owners in your litter invariably become friends and provide great support for each other during the puppyhood journey and beyond!
Puppy Placement Forms.
At around week 3, puppy placement forms are sent out.
These help us understand more about the temperament, energy level, and lifestyle fit that will suit you best, and form an important part of our matching process.
These allow us to build a detailed understanding of your lifestyle, home environment, and the type of companion you are hoping for.
Alongside this, we begin carefully observing each puppy as they develop. Introducing gentle, age-appropriate experiences and noting how they interact with their littermates, respond to new situations, and engage with our older dogs.
This combined insight allows us to match each puppy to the home we feel suits them best.
Our goal is to create natural, well-balanced partnerships, where your puppy fits seamlessly into your life and both you and your companion are set up for a long, happy future together.
Come and visit the puppies or have an online meet and greet.
This is something we recommended to everyone if its possible. A chance to be with the litter, have a cuddle and fall in love that little bit more!. Visits are usually kept to no more than an hour as puppies tire quickly and can become overstimulated. These visits are usually around week 4/5. If its too tricky for you to travel to come and visit we can always arrange your own private zoom call where you can watch and interact with the litter online.
Placements, final payments and puppy packs.
Week 6/7 is one of the most exciting weeks when I will send you a photo of your chosen puppy. Puppy choosing is a dual process and your preferences are always taken into account. It’s my job to balance looks, gender preferences and the puppy you dream of with the little characters that emerge. I place puppies with owners based on the information you provide about your lifestyle and home set up, family, work, needs etc. and carefully monitor the temperaments of each puppy to match your needs with theirs. Its my job as an ethical breeder to ensure I’m placing the right puppy, to the best of my ability, with the right owner. I know this can sometimes cause disappointment if there’s a particular puppy you’ve set your heart on. Its my promise to my puppies to find a balance of preferences and I have to do the right thing by them and ultimately I aim to achieve the right choice for you and your needs too. At this stage final payments are made and you’ll be sent your puppy pack which contains a ton of information to help you on your journey to puppy parenthood and beyond. There’s some great advice on how to manage the first few hours, days and weeks of bringing home your puppy to ensure you are setting yourselves and more importantly your little one, up for success.
Final steps before collection.
As collection day approaches, we will guide you through the final steps and provide any last-minute advice you may need.
This includes practical preparation, collection planning, and making sure you feel fully ready.
Bringing your puppy home.
Your puppy will leave us confident, well-socialised, and ready to begin life with you.
You will head home with your puppy’s documents, doggy bag, care guidance and the reassurance of ongoing support from us.
We raise a small number of litters so that each puppy receives the time, care, and attention they deserve and our aim is always to create thoughtful, lasting matches and to support our families every step of the way — from first enquiry to life at home and beyond.
